Aiming to include an explicit bar against sex discrimination in the U.S. Constitution, the House will vote today on whether to nix the deadline for states to ratify the Equal Rights Amendment.

Trump's budget proposes deep cuts to Medicare, Medicaid and Social Security while proposing huge tax cuts for the wealthy.

In short:
Austerity for the working class.
Rewards and treats for the elite.
His base champions this budget policy regardless of whether it actually benefits them or not.

Sad as it is, until those voters feel the pain in their wallets or until it is their family member being kept alive through Medicare...no amount of reason or logic matters.
