I don’t think voters care that candidates don’t have a track record of passing major legislation. Look at the last two presidents. And it isn’t like Bush or Clinton radically changed Texas and Arkansas.
I think a lot of people are clinging to old and outdated notions of what people want from a presidential candidate
I think people want big aspirations simply explained, not “how will you pay for it/pass it?” wonkery
