Folks say GOP is w/ Trump b/c they‘re afraid of him, maybe they’re afraid of the power of the civil rights movement of yesteryear, the Obama coalition, Moral Mondays, @fightfor15, @UniteThePoor, @womensmarch, @BLMNational, @AMarch4OurLives, @HRC, @ConMijente, @sunrisemvmt, etc.
They know if progressives, revolutionaries & moral agents turn toward each other & rise up in protest w/ a mighty processional to the polls, we can unseat Trumpism & mount a legal campaign against all that Trumpism has wrought. This is what they fear.
Let’s us remember, we did not get in this political and moral mess overnight. The work began many years ago w/ a long term well funded & committed attitude. We must make the same commitment not just against a man, but against an immoral movement.
Our tenacity now must take the character of the abolitionists. We must intensify & embolden our agitation in the streets, suites, at the ballot box, and in the courts. People of the past overcame more with less, LET US DO MORE WITH MORE!
