1/So the big news on the Democratic side in last few days were a slew of polls showing @JoeBiden in a very competitive position in upcoming states. Nevada first.

Maybe Senator Graham will have do those investigations into Hunter after all.
@JoeBiden 2/South Carolina is tightening for sure, but @JoeBiden still leads.
@JoeBiden 3/Texas - big Super Tuesday state.
@JoeBiden 4/Florida, a March 17th state.
@JoeBiden 5/Georgia, March 24th.
@JoeBiden 6/I have no idea what is going to happen in the Dem primary but sure does seem that we have a lot of drama ahead; and incredibly, a brokered convention could really happen this time.

Convo inside Dem world about what no nominee until July means has to start in earnest.

1/Short thread on #TrumpRussia2020.

So rather than mobilizing the government to stop Russia from once again interfering in our elections, the President fired the Director of National Intelligence.

A few questions.....
2/Ques 1 - how was Russia helping Trump this time?

Ques 2 - is there a plan now to make it stop, or did POTUS tell DNI/USG to stand down and allow the aid to him and his campaign continue?

Ques 3 - Will there be House hearings next week?
3/The President appears to be taking aid from Russia again and firing people who are exposing it.

He's shut down the FEC and prevented simple bi-partisan election security bills - including ones which would have automatically sanctioned Russia for their actions - from passing.

1/Some morning thoughts on the state of the Democratic Primary.

What worries me most is the struggle whomever the nominee is will have in bringing the party together, uniting Democrats to go into battle this fall.
2/I think if Bernie becomes the nominee he's going to have a very hard time leading the Party. He isn't now and hasn't been a Democrat in his decades long career. He's contemptuous of the achievements of recent Dem Presidents. He has almost no support fr leaders he's served with.
3/Bernie still feels very much like an insurgent, a factional leader, and not one who has the skill, staff, experience to bring together a factious and diverse party.

Sure he can grow but that he's put Jill Stein supporters in prominent leadership positions is a really bad sign.

Been a good week of polling in Dems' effort to retake the Senate. Another AZ poll has McSally down, this one more than any of the ones which have come before.
Senator Collins weak and trailing in Maine.
Tillis and Trump significantly underwater in North Carolina.

The blood-letting in Syria has been going on for 8 years now. It began with demonstrations in which people died from gunfire. Western media talks of peaceful protestors.

The gun-wielding rioters on Ukraine's Maidan were also described in this way.

Descriptions vary on this point. Some eye-witnesses (one at least western) say the protestors also used violence.

Republicans in Michigan and Wisconsin lost elections on Nov. 6. Rather than respect the will of voters, they're using their last few weeks in office to pass laws limiting the power of new governors and put roadblocks on voting. It's not just anti-Democratic. It's anti-democratic.

1. Ever wonder why the legacy media reports incessantly that @POTUS has “diminished America’s standing in the world” over the past two years?
2. While there are TONS of people overseas who hold the US in high esteem, certainly there are SOME people who are influenced by the constant anti-Trump messages from US media that they see broadcast 24x7x365 from the likes of CNN International (and BBC, for that matter).
3. Those Americans who’ve been overseas over the past couple of years know full well that about which I’m talking. Those who’ve not need to realize the CNN-I is carried in virtually EVERY hotel in the world and is consider by many to be the “window into” the US. (Not by me!)
