3/ You must be registered to vote by 4/13 to vote in the 4/28 PA Primary.
You must be registered to vote by 10/20 to vote in the 11/3 General Election.

4/ New for 2020, you can vote by mail! If you have a PA drivers license or PennDOT i.d. card, you may submit an online application to receive a mail-in ballot. You can do so here: pavoterservices.pa.gov/OnlineAbsentee…
5/ PA Applications for mail-in ballots must be made no later than April 21 for the Primary, and October 27 for the General Election
Your completed ballot must be received by the County Board of Elections by 8 p.m. on Election Day (Primary: April 28, General: Nov. 3)
6/ FYI, PA vote by-mail is not to be used for voters who will be out of town on election day. Those voters must use a PA absentee ballot. pavoterservices.pa.gov/OnlineAbsentee…
7/ PA still has closed primaries. This means, in order to vote in the Primary, you cannot be registered Independent. If you want to change your registration to vote in the 4/28 Primary, you must do so by 4/13. pavoterservices.pa.gov/Pages/VoterReg…
8/ Even if you have voted recently, it’s imperative that you verify that you’re registered to vote. Verify your voter status frequently, especially as an election nears. PA voters may do so here: pavoterservices.pa.gov/pages/voterreg…
9/ If you are a 1st time voter & you plan to vote at the polls, you must bring proof of i.d. with you to the polls. Below are acceptable forms of i.d. It’s always a good idea to bring i.d., whether required or not.

10/ FYI, in PA, prior felons may vote. See below for specifics.

11/ If you see or personally experience any voter intimidation at the polls, get the poll worker’s name(s) & IMMEDIATELY call the PA State Dept. voter hotline to file a complaint (1-877-868-3772). If you/they are still not permitted to vote, demand a provisional ballot.

13/ Voting by mail can circumvent some voter suppression methods, like last minute changes to polling locations, traffic manipulation, long lines due to inadequate # of voting machines and faulty/ hackable voting equipment. If you plan to vote in person, do the following...
14/ FYI, PA has more registered Democrats than Republicans.
Democrats: 47.6%
Republicans: 38.1%
Independents: 14.3%
