A word for Emir Sunusi

Wise people say for every place there's a befitting remark, and for every remark, there's a befitting place. Those who understand this saying, understand why some of us fault Emir Sunusi's emotional outbursts against the North at any given opportunity.
There are appropriate forums (ACF, NSCIA, JNI, etc) for bitter truth-telling, and such forums are very much accessible to the emir.
There are many leaders in the North who speak truths that are more bitter than Emir Sunusi's. But because they were told in a proper diction and at the appropriate places—away from the media, their messages were well understood and beneficial.
Now let us even assume all the negative things Emir Sunusi says about the North are true, common wisdom suggests you don't public-shame the person you want to correct.
Anyone who corrects you in a market square is either very silly himself or only meant to shame you (not correct you), and the latter appears to be the motivation of Emir Sunusi's outbursts, for I can find no reason to attribute silliness to the intelligent emir.
Some may ask, why should Emir Sunusi harbour such contempt against the North? The answer is very obvious; Emir Sunusi is a proponent of a liberalised Islamic culture, which inclines to any change in religio-cultural value system that agrees with modernity (modern Islamism).
This cultural evangelism, since its launch by the emir and his cohorts, has suffered a devastating blow from the proponents of conservative Islamic culture that advocates for maintaining the purity of Islamic teachings.
And such ideological differences result in open hostility from opposing sides. An example of this type of hostility is the animosity between political left and right, or that between capitalism and communism.
This is the reason behind Emir Sunusi's frustration and attempt to debase the Muslim North at any given opportunity.
His strategy is to fallaciously blackmail the proponents of conservative Islamism (the dominant culture of Muslim North) as those responsible for all the problems in the North (he does that a lot; refer to his speech at Kadinvest during the aftermath of Kano Flim City reversal).
By this blackmail, he tries to put pressure on them to shift towards cultural left, paving a way for the Emir's goal—the eventual liberalisation of our culture;
to jettison some aspects of Sharia, such as some portions of the family law, as he once, against Islamic teaching, opined the sharing of husband's wealth during divorce, and many other examples from him.
I want to remind the emir that he is only a custodian of his people's culture, but not its owner. He therefore has no power to change it.
I also wish to remind him that it is unethical to be an activist of his modern Islamism against the very culture he was entrusted custody of, for there is honor in refusing to put oneself in a position of conflict of interest.
May I also remind him that his people are the source of his power and majesty, and honor and decency demands he treats them with utmost love, regard and respect, and not shame them at will, as he often does. Allah guide us right. Amin.
