Not the word I would use. Let's unpack this "genius" move. Mini Mike unable and/or unwilling to do the work and spend the time to grow a bottom up campaign and capture the support of the voters instead has decided to buy/steal the nomination of the DEMOCRAT
.. PARTY.....the party that has since before FDR presented an image and political brand as being "for the little guy/for the worker" while fighting the rich, wealthy "fatcats".

What the media is not telling you. The reason for the Dems fear when it comes to Bernie is that 2/3rds of their party is liberal or very liberal(aka socialist). Moderates make up the rest of the party with a small amount of conservatives in there for flavor. Bernie is getting...
...about 50% of that liberal vote. This was not the plan. The Dem leadership thought that Pocahontas, daddy Climatebucks, heelsup, Spartacus and buttman among others would split that 2/3rds of the vote. Leaving a Biden as the only front running moderate to capture that 1/3rd
...Biden being Biden couldn't do it. Much of that moderate vote ended up split between Creepy Joe and Salad lady in NH. Enter mini mighty Mike to come to save the day. Well, we saw what happened at the debate.

🤔🤔🤔turns out those 14 people were isolated while on the airplane. This wasn't reported when it first happened. I wonder why? Now we have a report that the "CDC" didn't approve of the move. I'm not sure I agree with the move myself, but...

...it appears that some type of narrative is being spun here. The CDC report is coming from the WAPO so that sends up red flags to me. Not saying it's what is going on but this is how a fake news talki g point starts. Let's see if any of the 300 brought back gets sick first.
Update* from the comments it appears it was reported, I just missed it. I suppose I should have qualified it as "not reported widely". The reports I heard and saw did not report it but I'll admit i didn't do a deep dive on the move and just went off of the MSM articles/headlines.

This is exactly how the fake media creates narratives to change a practice. The NBC reporter most likely just made this shit up out of thin air. He then goes on "air" and shows examples on where this "policy" would work great. The fake media makes it a left/right issue.
Increasing demand for the ability to "fact check" the tweets. Twitter then "caves" to pressure by the media and Bam the fake media are once again gate keepers of information. Just like they were before the internet and social media.
The proper response to this is to call out the fake news reporter and make him prove his story/sources not to allow the fake story to get you are riled up. Again, Twitter denies there is anything like this in the works. The only evidence this is real is the word of a "journalist"

Not everything bad or immoral is a crime. The Trumps have a history of exploiting that distinction.

It's Trump's belief that doubling down on Islamophobia & bigotry is going to help him win in 2020.

I understand the calculation. I think it will indeed excite his bigoted base. They love it.

But he's misunderstanding why he won in 2016.

Nobody understands this more than Bernie
Trump clearly believes that he can fear monger his way to victory.

And here's the thing, I think he actually can fear monger his way to victory in about 10 states.

That won't win him Michigan.
It won't win him Ohio.
It won't win him North Carolina.
It won't win him Virginia.
Trump is not focused on Ilhan Omar because he has a legitimate grievance with her over 9/11 or anti-Semitism. He doesn't care about either of those things.

Trump is desperate for an enemy that plays on the bigotry & sexism & Islamophobia deeply embedded in his base.
