Based on my observation from Columbia SC and Selma, a few things to watch on #SuperTuesday:

1. Bloomberg showed up in Selma but got a rough reception. And our young, black focus group in Columbia SC were a hard NO. The takeaway: Bloomberg has intrigue, Biden has relationships.
2. Bernie was not in Selma. Does that reverberate w other black voters Tuesday in a year when John Lewis (who made a surprise appearance at a commemoration that rivaled the size of the usually larger Faith & Politics march? (Sanders was in CA & held a concert rally w/ @MrChuckD)
@MrChuckD 3. Where do Klobuchar and Buttigieg's supporters go? Polls seem to indicate they may be evenly spread out, though Amy has now endorsed Biden and Buttigieg seems likely to lean toward him. How many of them have already voted?

The exit poll numbers out of SC are fascinating and explain what looks like a commanding Biden win. Black voters were a slightly smaller share of the electorate (55% vs 60% in 2016) and as @harrisonjaime said, Biden should ring @WhipClyburn and thank him. #SCprimary2020
Interesting data: Bernie split you g voters with Biden. Tracks what we heard from our #amjoy focus group of young black voters.
And black voters (slightly closer to the 60 percent vote share mark with more interviews, broke hard for Joe:

Still processing that @60minutes interview. Just as a political matter, a hard pivot away from Fidel Castro and the USSR would have been the wise move for Sanders, so he could capitalize on his big Nevada win, calm Democrats and build. That interview? Whew, well bye-bye Florida.
When you combine that with the Sanders fans attacking @ava & @SpeakerPelosi and the tape pouring out showing a younger Sanders (who actually looks the same as now!) saying positive things about the USSR, the Sandinistas, socialism etc, he's leaving few Dems willing to defend him.
And he would need the party he holds at arms length and its hardcore base, esp black women over 30 -- AKA Democratic supervoters -- to get in formation for him if he's the nominee, because the oppo, the media vetting & the Russia & Trump Tom Foolery only gets worse from here.

1. Fathers day is a tricky time for folks like me that didn’t have good relationships w/ their dads. I’m happy so many people love their fathers! Yet I also know how hard it was to sort out my relationship with mine - It’s not something most men, or women, talk about. #fathersday
2. In my late twenties I called my dad out - I told him I never felt important to him and that I wanted to explore why that was. To my surprise he agreed. Which terrified both of us. And we went on a trip to Yellowstone park together.
3. I know many people never get this far - either no one brings up a tough issue, or the other person rejects the very idea of it. But there we were, walking around in beautiful nature, trying to sort out a broken past (and present).
