Since Malaysia is now without a Prime Minister, here's a thread of which fast food chains are each of the potential PM candidates we have.

Mahathir - McDonald’s

• Undisputed dominant force in Malaysian politics/F&B since the early 80s.

• Both are constantly reassuring Malaysians that they’re not controlled by DAP/the Jews.

Anwar Ibrahim - A&W

• Both start their name with the same three letters.

• Both made a comeback just over a year ago, but for some reason, have gone quiet again since.

Zahid Hamidi - KFC

• Closest thing to being McDonald’s main competitor.

• Both have a particular affinity for using tabungs to fundraise, for some reason.

Najib - Domino’s Pizza

• Had a massive fall from grace after a devastating scandal.

• Now known for being cheesy af.

Muhyiddin - Pizza Hut

• Majorly dissed on by Domino’s in full public view.

• Still tried sucking back up to its rivals Domino’s and KFC with an unexpected peace offering.

Wan Azizah - Marrybrown

• Old fashioned, home grown, all Malaysian.

• Silently doing work in the background with no particular need for fanfare.

Hishammuddin - Texas Chicken

• Basically KFC but without a personality.

• Problematic pasts they’d both REALLLLLLY wish Malaysians would forget about.

Azmin - Subway

• Arguably the least appealing fast food chain on the list.

• Bajet healthy with their public image eventho you KNOW you’re not losing calories with this shit.

Mukhriz - Burger King

• Basically a less inspired version of McDonald’s.

• Will forever be in McDonald’s shadow, no matter how hard they try.

And last but not least:

Tok Mat - Ramly Burger

• Successfully branded themselves with a local kampung public image.

• In actual fact, are worth a fuckton of money if you dig into their finances.
