6- A pitch can be organized or unorganized. For example, if you have to convince your parent, friend or uncle that you have an idea that would be the next big thing, that is an unorganized pitch.

8- An organized pitch is different. There are two types: Elevator Pitch and Investor Pitch. Elevator Pitch, as the name implies, is a short pitch that is mostly one (1) minute.

9- For Investor Pitch, you have more time to share. It can be 3 minutes or 5 minutes. The two types of pitch have the same structure which is "problem, solution, need".

10- Problem: Tell them the issue you have identified. Support your claim with relevant data. Solution: Your business idea. Need: What do you need? It may not be money, but whatever you need, make it known.

11- Before a pitch, make sure you do the following:
-Research the investors.
-Learn the vocabulary.
-Prepare the pitch.
-Practice in front of a mirror.
-Practice in front of friends.

12- There are written pitches too. Here, you will have to use creative writing to pass across your business idea and convince the investors that your idea will fly. Your ROI and growth strategy must be clearly stated.

-Tony Elumelu Foundation
-African Pitch Roadshow
-Angel Capital Association
-European Business Angel Network
-Shark Tank

14- There are Angel Investors (individual investors).You may meet them in an elevator, in a cab or lecture halls. Yes, your lecturers can invest in your business, so you must always be ready to pitch accurately.
