I am in the camp that believes indifference to disinformation produces more disinformation. I know others have come to different conclusions. But when its about you, it feels different folks.

I dont believe that @Twitter should be a platform for people like @lopatonok to spread false, slanderous lies about me or anyone else. What do you think? Discuss. And take action. Let's all work to clean up this platform for rational, fact-based discussion.

In the @SangerNYT @nytimes article today, one of our top national security officials, NSA O'Brien, said "What I’ve heard from the F.B.I.... is that Russia would like Bernie Sanders to win the Democrat nomination." nyti.ms/3c0eVo4 2/
Note first that he is declassifying this intelligence in this sentence. Did Trump give him permission to do so? Note also the release of this intelligence is clearly designed to hurt a Democratic presidential candidate. That is wrong. 3/

Yes, the Trump ADMINISTRATION has continued many tough policies started by the Obama administration regarding Russia, including economic sanctions, bolstering NATO (the 2% target on spending came from Obama), and assisting Ukraine. 3/

I've observed some movements taking off on Twitter. Some for #MedEd, raising awareness, knowledge sharing, inspiration and sharing failings, wounds & triumphs. Generally they support creative expression in 280 characters. Awesome! 2/
As these movements gain momentum, more people want to join in b/c #belonging. I'm seeing a disturbing trend of sharing experiences of patients/clients to promote how deep & human they are. Some are purely intended, some not. 3/

Bernie v. Hillary, Benghazi & the "email scandal" were perfect targets. There was already tension & division on those topics, so they were easy to exploit. 2
Russia also targeted #peopleofcolor (specifically black voters) to sow distrust of Hillary & the political process, which helped Trump's campaign. 3
