It's been a whole year since the House passed the Bipartisan Background Checks Act. Day after day, week after week, people are dying of gun violence – including yesterday in Milwaukee – & still @SenateMajLdr won’t hold a vote on a bill 90% of Americans support. It's shameful.
Why won’t @SenateMajLdr hold a vote on universal background checks? Corruption, plain & simple. Senator McConnell is too scared of the @NRA & their army of lobbyists & lawyers to act. The @SenateGOP needs to show some political courage & stop blocking a vote on this bill.
