With the exception of Trump and @RandPaul, the war has been ignored by the political class. Six soldiers dead in 2020 already. Almost 2,400 killed and 20,000 wounded since 2001. $1 trillion in US tax dollars and counting. And the country is in chaos while opiate trade thrives.
Peace deal or not, Trump needs to order our troops home without delay. Not one more young life, grievous injury, or US tax dollar is worth it.
