If it ends up being Biden, I hope Warren becomes Senate Majority Leader. If substantive legislation is going to pass, it’ll take a Majority Leader who’ll abolish the filibuster and who can get every Democrat on board.
Given the Senate map, Democrats are looking at ~50-52 seats at best. So legislation will need ~100% of Dem Senators - requiring a leader who can unite the party within that institution AND end the filibuster to pass it. Also can’t see Biden vetoing something so broadly supported.
(The same applies to a Bernie presidency but my point is the legislative outcomes will be similar even if it ends up being Biden since they’d both be constrained by needing ~100% Dem Senate support to pass).
