how can this bill be improved to address racial disparities? IF I had a higher education bill, I would again ask how would this effect your community, how can it be changed to do more to build racial justice? Will you do this with me?
Almost everything I did and every speech would contain a racial justice message and framework. Not only would this clean up Wall Street but it would also address bias in lending, for example.
What I would not do is spend my career focused solely on my passion for finance reform, for example, and then introduce an excellent, but unfettered, platform for racial justice. No matter how good it is, it has no links to others, to the community
No matter how great your ideas are, if they have no history, they don't come across as deeply felt.
