So, I watched @Maddow's entire interview with Bernie and was not pleased. Yes, she pressed him on his turnout and failed outreach to African American voters, etc. However, she also let him say many completely false things without a murmur.
He again conflated UHC with SinglePayer, leaving listeners thinking every developed nation has single-payer similar to M4All. Even those with SP are not similar. He said Biden defends the status quo, defends drug company price-gouging etc. etc. It was a long rant of accusations
Not a word was true. He says no one thought he had a chance etc, even though he came into 2020 as the front runner in money and expectations. Unchallenged. She never challenged his insinuations about billionaires. A billionaire is limited to the same 2800 contribution we all are
He continued to malign and slander other people. Every fucking person on the planet is corrupt, except for Bernie. It's a major reason I really despise him. Conspiracists and paranoiacs say that, mentally healthy people do not.
Maddow let Bernie lie repeatedly and really did not call him out on anything but his campaigns failure to live up to the hype on turnout. She did push a bit on him trying to hide his lack of success with Black people by always saying POC, but even there it was weak.
