The Biden hangover impacting stocks this morning...premarket Dow down -750pts. What a wild two weeks this has been. Think much of the selling pressure is coming from bond market as 10 year dips below 1% again and Europe where earning estimates are being lowered.
An hour in and the DOW staying at about where it opened. Looks like a wait and see approach as the market decided what it wants to do.
Halftime report. 10year Treasury yield hits all time low which is the biggest pressure on the market and causing the Biden hangover sell off to accelerate with the Dow down -900pts. Gold and grocery stores doing well.
As an aside it would be a perfect time for Trump to call for refinancing the federal debt at pretty much 0% interest for the next 10 years. Would pretty much balance the budget just like Clinton did using the same strategy.
@LarrySchweikart Going into the close and Dow is down -1000 pts. The Biden hangover has been a long drawn out affair today. Never recovered from the opening. Will see if buying interest comes in at the end. Would be a nice sign.
Closes out at -950 pts. Kind of boring action today. Dropped at the opening and then just basically sat there. Had a move down when 10 year Treasury hit all time lows.
