NEW: Mitt Romney could derail a Senate subpoena for records related to Hunter Biden and Burisma, hinting today he could vote against it next week. One GOP “no” vote in committee means the subpoena fails.

NEWS: Ron Johnson says today’s subpoena vote on Biden/Burisma docs is postponed to allow for additional briefings.
Committee source says they still plan to issue the subpoena, even without a committee vote.

“In the meantime, we believe a subpoena to Blue Star is a bipartisan path forward.”
TO CLARIFY: Johnson appears to be altering the subpoena. Initially he wanted to go for Telizhenko directly, but now the subpoena will target the firm, Blue Star, directly, according to a committee source.

Senators appear interested in moving the House FISA deal this week ahead of the March 15 deadline.

Majority Whip John Thune (R-S.D.) says it’ll “depend on how many procedural roadblocks some of our members might want to throw up.”

Fears about stoking a politically charged election season w/ vocal alerts about RU’s activity created a snowball effect, b/c of PBO’s adm’s “tempered”response to the RU’s attack on the 2016 elex.
