There's a lot of ambient male rage out there. It's no less vicious when labeled "left" rather than "right" or targeted to the under-40 cohort instead the over-50 market served by Fox and Limbaugh. Maybe it's even more vicious, because of the extra energy of (relative) youth
If your politics are not founded upon and limited by an ethic of care and respect, you are working for a worse world, not a better one - no matter what you tell yourself about the grand ends that justify your cruel means.
I'm sure I disagree with Sen Warren's policies probably 10x more than the Chapo guys do. As she hangs up her cleats after a tough contest at the highest level of competition, how hard is it to salute her as a keen intelligence, a generous spirit, and a public-spirited American?
