Delaying is not ideal but I will say, suppressed turnout is likely to distort the true preferences of the electorate. I bet you'd see a magical increase in young voters as older voters are the most likely to be afraid to show up to vote. It also speaks to why states
NEED no excuse absentee voting. In VA and many other states, voters could vote from the safety of their homes. States like GA & MS have avoided adopted widespread use of things like absentee voting bc they are intentionally trying to limit access to the ballot box. That's bad any
time, but in scenarios like this public health emergency, the foolishness of it gets exposed. People living in states like GA should be flooding their state governor w calls about absentee voting for the fall general.
