After Thursday I recieved a call that an out break occured again and they tested my father along with everyone at the nursing home due to a change in protocol. #COVID19

I received a call late Friday night my dad had a fever. Come Sunday afternoon my father had a temp over 100 degrees and signs of respiratory issues and was going to the er at Swedish hospital.

Last night, we were told my father would not make it and to say our final goodbyes, through a glass mirror.

We were told my father was taken to the icu at 900pm and no visitors would be allowed to see him from now till his death. My mom along with half my siblings said our final physical goodbyes and thank you to the staff and nurses.

My 3 siblings were on a plane to Washington and will only be able to say goodbye via face time today if he makes it that long. 3 days and my father will leaves this earth with none of us by his side.

The nurses eyes blistered as my mom thanked her with with a bow, palms pressed together and her tears flowing as she was never going to see her husband again. They told us their hearts were breaking as this is the best way to keep people safe.

All I can think about is if they will be safe. My spouse is self quarantined but we have no idea if he is carrying corona. The test are just unavailable. Am I a carrier and spreading this as I prepare for the country to shut down?
