In response to the economic fallout from the coronavirus disaster, no grant should be given to large companies only loans. It should be in the form of loans. No loan should be:
1. Given to any large company without putting up equity in the business (as with the Auto Bailout).
2. Granted without assurances that it will not be used for executive salaries, bonuses, stock buy-backs or dividend payments.
3. Issued without a plan and commitment to address leave pay and a living wage for workers.
If neither the republicans nor bug business are ready, willing or able to discuss these things to protect the best interest of the American people, then there shouldn't be any discussion of big business bailouts .
There should only be a focus on dealing with the national public health crisis.
