America is facing one of the gravest emergencies in its history. I, like I think everyone, pray for the president to be SUCCESSFUL in helping local officials save lives. That I don't believe he cares about saving lives, and don't believe him to be competent, is a separate matter.
As we go forward, we'll *all* do better if we understand that just because some of us believe this president to be a lifelong criminal does *not* mean that we want him to fail in the current crisis. It just means that we have no confidence in either his motives or his abilities.
So if you're a radical on the right, you should neither go looking in progressive tweets for signs that progressives want the president to fail—you'll almost *never* find that, though you'll often *think* you have—nor for signs that progressives believe this man to be a good man.
