1. First, there are no "bailouts" or a "slush fund" in this bill.

That are economically illiterate talking points and media repeating them are — SHOCKER — once again doing a disservice to the nation.

2. These are grants and loans for businesses to stay afloat and hold employment because government forced them to shutdown for a public health emergency/crisis.

There is no better way to help working families than to protect their job from bankruptcy.

A "bailout" is when...
3. A bailout is when a corporate or business screws up themselves and because the ripple effects will harm the largely economy, the government must assist or "bail" them out.

There are no "bailouts" in the Senate bill.

A "slush fund" is for pet projects, not floating overhead.
4. Here we have a situation where federal and state governments forced these corporations and businesses into closures, and these are loans and grants to ensure they do not mass layoff "working families" they cannot afford or, worse, closed their doors for good.
5. P.S. Is anyone else getting sick of the aggressive new auto-correct on Twitter?
