Day 2 after #COVID19 diagnosis.
My thoughts: cases like mine likely pose the greatest threat to society. I’m still quite functional, mobile and moderately symptomatic but COVID+.

The absolute truth:

I’ve read so many #CardioTwitter nightmares that I feel like I’m waiting for other shoe to drop. Very grateful for benign course so far.
For those of you working and interacting with others outside your home, it is impossible to assess based on how someone looks/feels. #PPE

This is the reason social distancing and staying at home is so important. You can’t infect or be infected if you stay at your house.

You don’t know who has it. You cant.

Take pains to protect yourself and others in all of the places you go, as much as possible. #PPE

The issue of all HCWs wearing masks has been brought to the fore in #CardioTwitter by many of us. Seems like most are not wearing #PPE just walking around the hospital but this is a potentially devastating problem.

A doctor/RN/transporter/kitchen staff - if they have it and don’t feel it then they will potentially spread it to every person with whom they come in contact with and all those people will spread it with no one ever knowing they were exposed. Masks/gloves/hand-washing may not..4/

Prevent that 100% but it can certainly mitigate it. I get there’s a supply/demand issue also at stake and that at this point in the thread I’m basically writing to myself. But I’m bored so it’s therapeutic.
