These findings are likely to underestimate the extent of misinformation. Some of it convincing. Some planted deliberately.

Much spread innocently but people who have not checked its source.

They also ranked by country how likely people were to be exposed to unreliable data. Iran was at the top with 73 Iranians dying and hundreds hospitalised from alcohol poisoning in an attempt to eliminate CV19 driven by fake news.
