If @LeoKelion is right in suggesting that all data is to be anonymised, why would the NHS be ‘committed to destroying all the records’ post-crisis?
If @rowlsmanthorpe is right to suggest that it will ‘also draw in data from the social care system, giving the govt a comprehensive view of the health system’, then, have independent providers (finally) agreed to pool public and privately controlled data in the public interest?
If @halhod is right and ‘Palantir’s approach is different from companies that have tried to transform NHS infrastructure in the past. It does not seek to own any of the intellectual property embedded in the datasets it handles’, then, is it value-add rather than value-extractive?
There are, of course, more questions than answers in the absence of a formal announcement from @NHSX - and transparency is paramount if the govt is to maintain public trust in its efforts as well as buy-in from the frontline, but ...
