Was talking with someone last week about something unrelated + he remarked that he's upset about paying $80K for his daughter to "watch college lectures online" and it dawned on me that this could be the thing that finally bursts the bubble that Peter was talking about years ago.
Top tier schools will adapt, bc Credentialism is Real (sadly) also bc they have a network effect, brand, + education quality that will make this all feasible. But lots of parents + high school students will look at tuition for a lot of colleges during this recession + opt out.
Hoping that trade schools can fill this gap for a lot of students that shouldn't have been burdened with all that student loan debt anyway. I'm hoping to find investment opportunities there. I've been looking, but this will be the catalyst for trade school 2.0 @Initialized
