A few problems with this THREAD

Just 1 of the problems with this part (aside from fact that Maduro's government IS democratically elected): Months ago, the US & its allies annulled the results of free & fair elections in #Bolivia . Oh & @jguaido is a big fan of the US-backed dictatorship there [2]

This bit - threatening to "increase" sanctions that are already killing thousands until the self-appointed US Emperor deems a "solution" acceptable - should be cited by prosecutors when US officials (Trump, Pompeo, Abrams etc) are on trial for crimes against humanity. [3]

The US has no real external enemies (i.e. none that can strangle its economy with impunity) so it gives itself the indulgence of dictating to others while its own people die from #coronavirus due to the gross incompetence/malevolence of its own leadership [4]

So appalling that the dire weakness of US democracy allows it to perpetrate mass murder in the name of democracy. If the US had an opposition party, it would call for the immediate and unconditional lifting of US sanctions. [5]

It would also seeking prosecution of the US officials who imposed them. Perhaps having a monster like Abrams spearheading this does have a sadistic Mafioso-like logic - flaunting its impunity to the victims. [6]
