If you wonder why there are more tests than people tested remember that good practice before discharge is that 2 tests should be run 24 hours apart as low levels of COVID maybe missed in one test

It is frustrating that community death data is necessarily slower (coming via multiple sources) than hospital deaths. A lag of at least a week.
