Apparently referring to the coronavirus, Trump says, "Wherever that monster goes, we're able to move with it. Great flexibility, we have tremendous flexibility."
Trump claims that when the governors speak to the media, they say "oh we're not happy" but "they're very happy on the phone." This isn't true, and teleconference recordings have come out showing that this is false.

Still attempting to defend his administration's inability to get coronavirus tests to citizens, Trump argues, "One of the reasons we have more cases is because we do more testing." The U.S. has lagged behind other nations on testing, per capita.
Trump praises drug companies: "The great science -- because I call them science companies more than drug companies. They're scientists."
"Things are going really well," Trump says on the day that the American death toll from the coronavirus went over 10,000. He also predicts that the country will open "sooner than people think."
Trump browbeats a reporter who references the recently released inspector general's report indicating inadequate hospital supplies and testing. Trump demands to know the IG's name, and insists its "partisan." Inspector generals are independent and part of the govt - not parties.

Asked by a reporter about widely reported problems with getting loans out to small businesses, Trump tells her how to do her job: "I wish you'd ask the question differently. Why don't you say it's gotten off to a tremendous start but there are some little glitches."
Trump complains that the letter sent by Captain Crozier of the USS Theodore Roosevelt requesting help for sailors with coronavirus was bad because "it shows weakness." He adds, "we're not going to be showing weakness to anybody."
After being asked a series of questions by an Asian reporter for an outlet based in Hong Kong, Trump asks, "Who are you working for? China? You work for China or you're with a newspaper?"

She informs him that she is there working for a privately owned news organization.
