A small window on #Iraq:
Sources in #Baghdad said PM Kadhemi made a mistake by listening to "advisors" pushing him to arrest Kataeb Hezbollah Iraq. Once arrested these advisors greeted him and told him he'll be a Hero of Iraq. Now the same advisors are quite after this fiasco.

Iraqi Justice released Kataeb Hezbollah #Iraq (KHI) coz nothing indicated they were planning to launch rockets on (US) objectives in the "green zone" as Kadhemi was informed before sending a Counterterrorism unit to arrest KHI.

Contacts between #Iraq, #Lebanon and #Iran helped to de-escalate the tension between KHI and PM Kadhemi.

The Iraqi PM has lost a lot of credit in this failed operation (not among #US warmonger so-called experts). It will affect his future as a PM.

#Iraq PM Mustafa al-Kadhemi was not elected to fight against hashd al-Shaabi but was a kind of compromise choice to remove Adnan al-Zurfi and to bring someone to run early parliamentary elections and implement the Parliament decision to seek #US troops withdrawal.

#Iraq PM was preparing the ground for himself to be re-elected and, potentially, could have increased his chances. Now he has lost all possibilities & showed a serious lack of experience in running state affairs. Although he got support 2 find his way, he still has a lot to learn

#Iraq PM Kadhemi has no skills to negotiate a #US withdrawal from the country and this US administration doesn't want to leave but is trying to re-deploy and postpone serious measures until November to see if Trump will be re-elected.

#Iraq is in deep financial crisis caused, like #Lebaon, by corruption, mismanagement and also the war against #ISIS. PM Kadhemi is trying to justify himself saying he needs the US financial support to pay salaries (4 million employees) and hold the population from an uprising.

Bottom line: #Iraq is in deep trouble and the new temporarly PM Mustafa al-Kadhemi is adding crisis and troubles to himself more than the already difficult problems the country is suffering from.

One Of the Hashd al-Shaabi, Brigade 45, arrested and imprisoned by the Counterterrorism unit (later released) said the "base exists since 3 years in #Baghdad with a weapon warehouse, as in every Hashd position in Iraq".

That is serious:
" CT unit asked us: what are you doing here? You don't belong to Hashd al-Shaabi."

This indicates the lack of coordination and ignorance of the person who gave the orders and the misleading information provided to PM @MAKadhimi. A mess.

PM Kadhemi proved his lack of experience and planning, misguided by a few of his advisors. It is an unprecedented move and he is paying the political price, showing he is weaker than ever, even in front of the US. Iran wasn't consulted at all.

Bad luck to all warmonger "experts" on Iraq: PM Mustafa al-Kadhemi held a meeting to all Hashd al-Shaabi commanders and Counterterrorism units officers in a general reconciliation meeting to end the tension.

PM Kadhemi is showing mature behaviour in his way to apologise.

PM Mustafa al-Kadhemi said to Hashd (not on the news) that no similar incident will happen again and that his job is not to please the Americans but to protect The Iraqi security forces because they are an essential contributor to defeat #ISIS and protect Iraq.

This is very important and satisfies Hashd al-Shaabi but doesn't mean guards are lowered.

#Iraq PM is new to such a responsibility and doesn't come from the traditional institution of politicians. He is learning so, expect more mistakes and hopefully less serious.

Those warmongers, particularly US analysts sitting in a tank and pretending to think, thought that PM Mustafa al-Kadhemi will dismantle Hashd al-Shaabi. Keep dreaming, #Iraq is protected by Hashd that prevents the return of #ISIS and the partition of the country.+

Those who can stand against a strongly ideologically motivated group like #ISIS shld also be equipped w/ a strong ideology on the opposite side.

#US trained #Iraq security forces from 2003 to 2014: these crumbled in one month.

Hashd was created in one month & defeated #ISIS

Hashd is bigger than all #US think-tankers & bigger than any Prime Minister. #Iraq will always have a Hashd al-Shaabi regardless of who is the PM. This is what the US fail to understand & will never understand because analysts have no insights and express their wishful thinking.
