Is it any wonder physicians are unable to navigate increasingly complex healthcare policy or industry pressures if some unable to manage own selves?

“Physician led” slogan requires those issuing that rallying cry to demonstrate trustworthiness - else *you* harm the profession

#globalhealth, #Ruralhealth in America and #FQHC care require #teambasedcare, as does care for children with disabilities - so I am never going to mandate only one type of clinician or be locked into separate cult-like group coercion or shaming.

precisely how certain physicians claim to be “pro-physician”
quick to attack or mislabel peers who put patients & marginalized populations first

It is not a good “look” nor represents ethics we are accountable to in paths we take

The best reputation management is having a clear mission, adhering to ethics, and not needing to delete what you put out.

In brief:
Be reliable yourself
Then your “brand” is reliable by default.

There is a whole field of #healthcare #marketing that sells

“optics” not #ethics
“prestige” not #quality
“control” not #access

railing against “socialism” is using coded language to justify “block patient access”

Now if a physician this quickly attacks an #FQHC peer

how are..
..patients treated?
..social workers treated?
..nurses treated?

Interactions like this cause me to double down because I am “strong enough” to “take it”

But many are not
#bullying is not unique to one clinician

I am strong enough... until I am not. This is what “great opportunities” look like

I hustle and work 3x harder to get half as far, sacrificing health and wellbeing

For this, “peers” shame and accuse from the crowd seeking to advance physicians 🙄
