When I was 16 I became student council president that’s when my interest in leadership and government began as a result I went to leader ship training camp as a teen. I became a counselor at that camp for 13 years so I literally train future #NewJersey leaders.

At 18 I volunteered on my first campaign. It was for Bob Torricelli. Yes I know how his career ended and a lot of New Jersey politicians that I volunteered for ended up resigning in disgrace or going to jail but this is #Jersey #CripTheVote

In early 2001 I had my first lobbying meeting in DC. I met with the lowest level staffer Frank Lautenberg had To talk about the #CrimesAgainstHumanity Ariel Sharon was perpetrating #IsraelApartheid

Then #September11 happened. And I was hurled into a level of advocacy I had never imagined we were fighting #WarCriminal Bush 43 who decided he should register Muslims in USA The 2nd intifada was also raging so I moved 2 Palestine for a year to work with traumatized disabled kids

I spent every single summer of my life in #Palestine but this was my 1st time living there. I lived in dheisha a refugee camp. I endured bombing being shot at being placed under curfew for 40 days when Israel attacked the church of the nativity because no house of worship is safe

I watch the illegal Israeli wall be built on stolen #palestinian land. Watched the nasty settlers from Long Island gobble up Palestinian land I got spit going to Burger King with my grandfather. I watched my friends bury their kids and then I watched my friends be killed.

In 2006 I hung out with the Carter Center who was observing the last #Palestinian elections we would ever have. I coined the term Abbashole and pioneered stand-up comedy in Palestine and Jordan.

In 2008 I became an alternate delegate for Barack Obama at the DNC. I was a Muslim surrogate for Hillary Clinton she never used me probably because she was virulently Zionist and I was outspoken about freeing #Palestine I remained active in New Jersey local politics.
