Officially, the German federal government wants to save nothing less than the world #climate. In order to achieve this megalomaniac goal, it does not shy away from any expenditure that costs our economy around 50 billion euros annually in the form of high taxes and subsidies. /1

This moralizing #climate activism makes every German citizen poorer by at least 600 euros per year. /2

But among the heads and chief ideologues of large lobby organizations, there is the naive hope that this massive transformation will finally make #Germany the world champion exporter again - through the export of #climate technology. /3

To justify the costly #climate protection expenditure, which the government wrongly calls "#investments", one often hears the economic argument that this will soon make 🇩🇪 the export world champion in alternative drive systems and innovative technologies for renewables. /4

But as a current study by #trade economists at the Institute of German Economics @iw_koeln shows, this dream turns out to be another planned #economy fantasy. /5

#Trade statistics show that #China has already overtaken #Germany or will soon overtake Germany in #export|ing the most important supposedly #green technologies such as e-batteries, inverters, wind turbines and electrolysis devices. /6

The reason for this is simple: the mediocre technology level of climate protection goods and high production #costs. /7

Instead of calling for a further intensification of the #climate agenda, as the German federal government will do in its reaction to this study, we must finally reduce #electricity #costs, #taxes and #bureaucracy, because unfortunately 🇩🇪 is the world champion in this! /8

Planned economy concepts - as the current #GreenDeal - are always doomed to failure, as has been shown by the German #photovoltaic subsidies, which ultimately only helped the Chinese #solar #industry. /9

In bright contrast, the #AfD demands with its #BlueDeal program to free German companies from #bureaucratic burdens, to bring the #infrastructure up to date and to end state intervention #EEG in the #energy market. /10

Only this will help to make the famous "#MadeinGermany" competitive on the world market once more. /fin 🇩🇪💙✌️
