I know we’re supposed to be excited about the #Infrastructure agreement in the Senate, but I can’t help but think the #GOP succeeded in delaying and slicing it down to the bone.

This @NYTimes infographic tells the story.

Let me clarify some stuff from earlier today.
We can draw some straight lines between...
1⃣ this @nytimes article
⬇️
2⃣the Deputy Acting AG Donoghue's notes
⬇️
3⃣ the #complicit actions of certain #Republican #Pennsylvania lawmakers

1/?

nytimes.com/2021/07/30/us/…
@nytimes First, let's look at those notes from Acting Deputy AG Donoghue.

Folks have been asking who and what he's talking about. I think that this section is about #PA10's @RepScottPerry and #Pennsylvania state lawmaker @SenMastriano.

2/? Image
@nytimes @RepScottPerry @SenMastriano More interesting is this ADAG Donoghue note about "205K votes - more than xxx xxx voters - PA"

Part is illegible, but he's talking about a debunked theory that there were more votes placed in #Pennsylvania than there were registered voters. Again, this has been debunked.

One year ago today, @RepBrianFitz of PA01 voted NO on a bill that would have provided safe and humane conditions for detainees, including children.

Brian Fitzpatrick voted to keep #KidsInCages.

#PA01’s @RepBrianFitz voted NO to making sure people in US custody have “soap, a toothbrush, toothpaste, adult diapers, and feminine hygiene products.”

#PA01’s @RepBrianFitz voted NO to making sure that babies and mother had access to "a clean diaper changing facility, which includes proper waste disposal, a hand washing station, and unrestricted access to diapers."

GREAT statement, @BucksDems!
Joan Cullen needs to resign for her #Racist statements.

And @BucksGOP should be ASHAMED for defending Cullen, while calling out @MeehanCampaign's for similar offenses earlier this year.

They clearly value political expediency over #racialjustice.
It appears the @BucksGOP was only ready to call out #racism when it meant they were protecting favored son (or in this case favored brother and #nepotism beneficiary) @RepBrianFitz of #PA01 from a more contentious primary challenge.
/2
And now that they are faced with another #racism issue, @BucksGOP is ready to circle the wagons for another #nepotism beneficiary.

Joan Cullen, who defended people in blackface and rejects the concept of systematic racism, is related to @BucksGOP vice chair Joseph Cullen.

@immelza @RepBrianFitz @townhallproject I think we ALL (not just #PA01) need to have an open conversation about what #TownHall events are going to look like in a world where #SocialDistancing is a MUST.

#TownHalls are an integral part of representative #Democracy, and we must preserve their spirit.
1/? Image
@immelza @RepBrianFitz @townhallproject @IndivisibleTeam @PA_Indivisible Part of this issue is finding some organization to moderate telephone #TownHall events.

We cannot leave the event management and moderation in the hands of our lawmakers, regardless of their party.
2/?
@immelza @RepBrianFitz @townhallproject @IndivisibleTeam @PA_Indivisible Having experiences any number of telephone #townhall events from multiple lawmakers, I will tell you that the best of them can be informative, candid, and revealing of a lawmaker's goals and priorities.

Welcome to the Pennsylvania member of Congress Tracking Report for the week ending March 22, 2020. We are doing things a bit differently this week. All of our content centers on the #COVID19 #coronavirus pandemic.

First up, we have a recap of HR 6201, the #FamiliesFirst bill that was passed on Wednesday by the Senate and signed into law.

If you have a chance, check out the #MoCTrack recap of the #FamiliesFirst action in the Senate. There were three attempts to amend the bill (1 good, 2 awful), and it is worth seeing ow our lawmakers voted on those efforts.
