I don't think clearing your Twitter timeline is always a bad idea
Honestly, the incentives to clean your timeline once a year or so, are wildly in favor of erasure,
My feeling is to use @threadreaderapp & archiving for important threads, or clear the timeline around the important stuff you want to keep around
Twitter is built on hot takes & @ moment observations,
but these age extremely poorly & doesn't make sense not to clear your timeline now & then
Many are happy to use reasonable statements at the time against U
I wish it wasnt like that, but Ur working against human nature
The fact that a tweet in a certain year that is okay can be used to cancel your account in a different year means you basically have to do so to stay around
You cannot predict what those tweets will be, so I think tweet-deletion does justify itself
For those worried about important bad tweets disappearing,
This is why people should learn how to archive

Gaming world spiraled into outrage earlier this month when Indiana @Froskurinn Black, host of Comcasts new gaming network @G4TV lectured viewers on finding her less “bangable” than previous hosts

There was a certain scientist I respect that said the priority of pain care is to elevate function,
Which I think is good, but more often than not, pain severely impairs my ability to function & I'm not sure how you delineate the two sides of chronic pain
I have this re-occurring nightmare where the harm reductionist & patients rights side gets pushed back into obscurity as the prohibitionist's side takes over again
This comes from I think my subconscious mind clicking into the fact that harm reduction & patient freedom are at the moment associated with a certain political faction
& when this faction becomes incredibly unpopular again it will take harm reduction w/ it
At the moment harm reduction is libertarians, some classic liberals & progressives cheerleading this movement
& if the new-right pro-government movement takes control with say, a new Trump presidency, that this would be very bad for the support of these pro-freedom ideas
