Big part of the problem w/ kids masking in schools is that the rules are incomplete & change from day to day,
U cant have kids being told they have to wear the mask on Tuesday but not Wednesday
which happened in some states like Virginia & New York abcnews.go.com/Health/wireSto…

It's not fair to the kids to make them scared each day they come in if they have all the right masks & protocols for covid or not
Maybe for rich kids, but for poor kids who struggle to get clean clothes for school, this is just too much to ask for

I'd definitely be one of those kids that would get in trouble for not keeping up with the Covid protocols at school, punished because i didn't know what was going on & didn't have the resources to keep up

Protecting adults & immuno-compromised can make sense,
But kids are not spreaders, they are extremely unlikely to get sick,
Masking in kids is pretty much useless, so for their sake lets no go crazy if the kid forgets his mask at home
