Two months ago today the missiles started flying into all parts of #Ukraine, eight years after the original invasion in Crimea and east Ukraine.

One story I am keeping tabs on is the reported kidnapping in #Ukraine of a #Bulgaria diplomat.

The news is just being picked up on in the country after the mayor of #Melitopol announced that Russian soldiers had abducted Honorary Consul, Sergei Zhelev

The news of the Bulgarian diplomat⬆️comes hot on the heels of @OSCE announcing some of their staff were also kidnapped.

@deirdre_brown confirms "Russian puppets in Donbass are threatening (OSCE staff); Russian forces have captured SMM personnel."

Later today the highest ranked US officials to visit #Ukraine since the start of the war, are expected in the capital #Kyiv.

Sec of State Anthony Blinken and Defence Minister Lloyd Austin are due, as President @ZelenskyyUa let slip during his "metro station" press conference.

#Germany has seen some divisive pro-Russian car rallies which raised tensions.

Now, 50 miles north of Frankfurt in a town called Marburg, one driver of a car which paraded a "Z" and a Russian flag, is complaining about his vehicle being "upgraded" - #SlavaUkraini!

Seems there's also been an explosion in #Dnipropetrovsk region somewhere, possibly in #Dnipro itself.

Sirens are going off in many regions right now.

British intelligence is upbeat for #Ukraine this morning.

Remember this largely reflects the previous 24 hours on the battlefield plus the UK's own intelligence from satellites and doubtless, informants/spies.

Meanwhile it looks this morning as though #Ukraine has made an advance in #Kherson region after wiping out the forward Command post the night before last.

Eight settlements have been regained by🇺🇦 army according to sources on the ground.

Fierce fighting continues in #Luhansk where 8 more civilians were killed in #PutinsWar

Six died in shelling of Zolote village and the settlement of Gorsky where two people were injured.

The bodies of two women were found under rubble in Popasna.

A man was killed in #Dnipropetrovsk region overnight.

Three rockets caused damage. One hit railway infrastructure, two more missiles struck industrial targets.

8 buildings were destroyed.

#Bulgaria has backtracked and refused to supply arms to #Ukraine.

Prime Minister Kirill Petkov said "For me military assistance (for Ukraine) is absolutely justified. However, in these circumstances, I am the Prime Minister, I have coalition partners that have clear red lines."

#Russia is bombing the Azovstal metalworks in #Mariupol' again.

Meanwhile #Ukraine's Azov battalion has released more photos of the city to mark (Orthodox) Easter Day, asking if it's possible for Mariupol' to be resurrected?

It looks like Kyselivka is one of the towns #Ukraine is close to, or may already have taken in #Kherson region. 🇺🇦 says it killed 74 Russians in the area and destroyed a lot of enemy equipment.

This is under 15km from #Chornobaivka and 25km from Kherson city centre.

Ridiculous! The chess-playing site chess.com has been blocked by Russia's autocratic government. The Kremlin apparently found some reference to the truth in #Ukraine.

In the occupied areas of #Kharkiv region there are multiple reports over the last few days of Russia's soldiers stealing generators from residents.

Many villages in the area are without power and water.

A "powerful" explosion reported around the town of #Druzhkivka, near #Kramotorsk.

The small city in #Poltava Oblast is where this video is supposedly from - I've not been able to verify but timestamp checks out.
Clearly a missile about to hit somewhere.

Now confirmed that FIVE missiles have hit the #Poltava region of #Ukraine.
