While #Gmail and #Proton is currently the most trusted of all communication apps based on their past records, @skiffprivacy ,@Dmailofficial @cryptpad are not doing bad with their development in few years,they are Innovations that have credible usecases and possible adoption

@skiffprivacy is a privacy first end to end encrypted and open source collaboration mail with massive development going on the project .

Here are some of the #usecases, limitations and possible adoption level I can spot ,there are may be more

I)With the Ens and #Ethereum Wallet integration on @skiffprivacy,you can send end to end messages and privately collaborate with Ens domain holders and #ETH wallet.
Based on the eventual success level of skiff,they have paved more way for #ens holder to put their domain to use

ii)@IPFS integration allows permanent and private storage for your data
iii)In-docs storage and #skiffdrive idea makes it start getting closer to Gmail and protonmail on web2

I could admit that I spotted some limitations which I believe will solve more problem for their users

and create a close-to flawless adoption for them

I)Complete worksuite package could give them an edge

ii)Providing more file type support could do some magic(only limited file types are currently supported,they lack file supports)

USP
The unique selling point for skiff is the ability to provide more private options for users and they are working more on that USP.

#ADOPTION.

With the spotted utility,It may become the main Gmail alternative for web3 where B2C and B2B utility are probably provided.

2) DMAIL
@Dmailofficial on the otherhand has more features and utility but I want to believe their purpose of existence is different.

I)Support for intelligent #decentralised storages like #ipfs and #cannister for permanent Data storage

ii)Direct inward Dialing integration (DID) to easily make the #dApp Interact with other #dApps.

iii)Integration with web2.0 to send messages to web2 emails not just web3.0

IV)Tradable #NFT domain account for more end to end encryption and most likely asset control provision,you should be to transfer your assets to other accounts through the naming service.
In the future I won't be surprised if the #Domains provide hosting services to other dapps

V)Integration of #Metamask,plug wallet(ICP),ID(ICP),@infinity_swap for login and this is a secure way of not being hackable on your app
#Assets management and multichain support will help you allow transfer assets of different chains, receive #Airdrops and also project message

There are more amazing features . however I see some limitations to this project
I may not be 100% accurate but here are some of them
I) Not free to use-For start,I think a way of providing a free service with limited access for trust and confidence should not be thrown away

ii) Basic experience level storage and attachment limit- I believe there are unnecessary limitations put down into the app...
200mb storage capacity, limited attachment limit and daily limit is quite unnecessary and it may limit the project from massive adoption

iii) everything might get clumsy if things are not put right in place at the right time ,I don't think implementation of so many features at the beginning is a good idea.

One step at a time and the overall progress and adoption should create more needs for more features.

USP
My notable USP on @Dmailofficial compared to other #web3 email is the ability to communicate with #Web2 emails and interact with multichain dapp
ADOPTION
Dmail has a great chance to be the communication housing of so many #Crypto projects on #ICP and other chains

My personal view
I really believe this app would scale better as a #B2B than a #B2C model compared to any other #web3 communication project on the web3 #Space
If you can,you may
a) adjust the basic experience level limit
b) make free version with little features and expiration

@cryptpad is an open source privacy project with complete worksuite but still have a long way to go .
They have a complete worksuite for easy collaboration with work #privacy as one of their USP but are limited in terms of
I) responsiveness and simplicity of the worksuite

ii). No Mobile apps yet
iii)no private payment options

Personal view
A survey should be given to users so they can see more limitations and how they can serve their users better
