In truth it's just that #Ukraine's forces only just walked in there. Here's @TheStudyofWar's new map showing how much land is confirmed reclaimed in Kharkiv
While there are rumours of #Ukraine's army already fighting to reclaim #Donetsk airport, #Lysychansk + #Severodonetsk, I'm treating these as just rumours until I get confirmation
100% we do know🇺🇦 crossed the Siversky Donets river in #Donetsk and is fighting for #Lyman + #Yampil
A poerful missile struck the centre of #Dnipro city early this morning.
Officials say it landed in the residential area. A 72 year old man is seriously injured.
As well as private houses, shops, a market and administrative buildings were also damaged. #RussiaIsATerroristState
The nuclear power plant at #Enerhodar is in a critical state again after more shelling.
The management agency says the #Zaporizhzhia plant is disconnected from the grid again. They must put it into "cold shutdown" for safety reasons. #RussiaIsATerroristState
At least two missile strikes in occupied #Donetsk.
One man is reported to have died.
#Russia's losses today (according to #Ukraine sources) show higher than average numbers for tanks, aircraft, APVs, other vehicles, special equipment and personnel. Another 400 soldiers died for Putin's illegal war in the last 24 hours.
#Russia has not returned children to #Ukraine who were due to be go home from "summer camp"
They claim it's too dangerous to return them to #Balakliia and #Izium so they stay in #Krasnodar "for a 2nd shift"
Now with no Russians remaining, parents are under pressure to move to🇷🇺
1/2 #Russia needs to deflect from the catastrophic capitulation in #Kharkiv & boost morale.
So this claim is to be treated with caution
🇷🇺says 250 #Ukraine soldiers, 12 APVs destroyed when Iskander missiles hit #Pokrovsk (RU: #Krasnoarmeysk) station during unloading.
2/2
The Head of #Pokrovsk (RU: #Krasnoarmeysk) Ruslan Trebushkin, made a video in the town.
He admits there were 5 cruise missile strikes, so although no sign of APVs, railway here, it is in theory possible they are not showing damage elsewhere.
Exiled Governor Serhiy Haidai published these two photos on his Telegram channel. He says they are from today in #Pishchane, the #Starobil district of the occupied region.
Everything going to plan in the elections across #Russia!
Just in the last hour @Sota_Vision reports one candidate arrested. One official observer kidnapped and now another observer files a complaint after needing hospital treatment after people tried to stop her leaving her car
Just 3 km from the border with #Russia, the village of Hoptivka (RU: #Goptovka) is confirmed as free occupation.
All these places are just abandoned now, The north of #Kharkiv region, right up to the border is likely all #Ukraine controlled now.
Earlier he wrote "It is not enough to return #Ukraine to the middle of the 19th century. These urchins need to be hammered into the stone age. It will be fair."
Satellite photos seem to reveal what looks like plenty of #Iran's equipment being used by #Russia to kill in #Ukraine.
#USA intel said it, Kremlin denied it, so we knew it was true.
This was posted on another violently pro-Russian channel with no location nor date.

Another night of no sleep yet - dramatic action in Moscow.
Time to start another daily thread covering everything to do with Putin's disastrous 'operation' in Ukraine.
It's 5am in Russia and Ukraine, on Day 1190 of the war.
Let's begin...
I've still NEVER missed even one day since the start of Russia's full invasion.
But yesterday's thread ended up being one of the most lively. Another near 50-post story of the day, and if you like seeing "bavovna" in Russia, go right through to the end!
Good morning on Day 1176 of the war in Europe.
In my opinion, Ukraine should have won this war in 2022/23.
Effective leadership is based on good, decisive decisions. Sadly, the allies have never been decisive, preferring dithering and half measures.
Welcome to my daily thread:
What I mean by dithering is endless internal political battles in most countries to give adequate weapons. Scholz (Taurus), Biden (everything) the most obvious examples, though Joe was hampered by Congress and is way better than now
But it's always enough to survive, not to win
If you missed anything from yesterday, catch up with this link to the start of yesterday's thread. Scroll down to where you got to and complete your knowledge!
The start of a new week and simultaneously almost the end of 167 weeks of Russia's attempt to liberate Ukraine from its leader and remove the country from maps.
It's Day 1167 of Putin's full invasion. Welcome to Monday's daily thread.
First the link back to Sunday's thread for those who were busy y'day
It started with Ukraine counting the cost of yet more strikes on civilians and infrastructure but there were more strategic hits on Russia during the day, incl a night attack on Moscow.
Day 1163 of Russia's war of choice, invading a peaceful neighbour.
Another bloody and murderous night in Ukraine, but the pressure is all on Russia today as Ukraine signs the minerals deal, the US (finally) continues its shift against Putin and the oil price dives
Here's THE🧵
Good morning and happy May (or MayDay).
I have to say a new month brings new optimism for Ukraine following the US/Ukraine agreement.
That was the biggest news story of a near 50-post thread.
It took me ages - least you can do is read it!😂
Day 1158 of the war in Europe.
This is the daily thread for Saturday 26 April, and as I mentioned last night, the anniversary of the Chornobyl disaster.
A later start today, sorry if I kept you waiting, but let's waste no more time...
Yesterday we saw Russia attack civilians of course, but we also probably also got a reminder of the power of Ukraine's Military Intelligence, as a Russian general and a weapons designer were both confirmed dead.
