Apologies again for slow updates and responses, I am commentating on tennis most of the day again.
Doing my best!
The daily British Intel update shows why #Russia is continuing to panic. There's quite widespread acknowledgement in the Russian media now that #Ukraine has made advances, increasing the realisation that mobilisation will spread and the war will now touch most people's lives
The #Ukraine estimate at how many Russians they've killed in the war reached 61,000.
As expected the daily increases are slowing down as the invaders continue to retreat:
With so many losses and big mobilisation problems there are more and more examples of people being rounded up on the streets. This is occupied #Luhansk where an unmarked bus cruises around with masked inhabitants looking for "victims" to drag to war.
After the missile attacks on #Zaporizhzhia I reported earlier, it's revealed both the Deputy Head of #Hulyaipole & the the head of the local Communist party were killed.
Gov Starukh paid tribute saying Olexandr Savitsky and Oleksandr Kosarenko bravely remained working to the end
First photos are coming from the villages conquered by #Ukraine in the #Luhansk region.
Earlier Gov Haidai said several places have been liberated. Unofficial news is that in both #Makiivka and here #Hrevivka, the Russians have been expelled
To help stop fuel prices from surging again, Joe Biden has promised to release an additional 10 million barrels from the #USA's strategic oil reserve to market in November.
It follows OPEC's decision to cut production by 2m barrels a day. Oil prices today had risen 2%.
Independent media site Baza is reporting Russian authorities in a Karelian village could not mobilise a single person.
All the male inhabitants of #Sheltozero "went to the forests for cranberries"
Next to tonight's #SolobevLive programme.
More dissent and extraordinary comments allowed to be seen by #Russia's viewers.

Unbelievable: The International Boxing Association is allowing fighters from #Russia and #Belarus to compete again, wear national colours and anthems to be played if they win medals.
Fact check: Who is President of the IBA?

Today more than 50 fresh civilian graves have been discovered just outside liberated #Lyman.
Locals say those suspected of being "disloyal" to #Russia were forced to collect the bodies. One man claims many of the bodies were in the streets for weeks and couldn't be identified.
In the early hours of today #Ukraine struck another blow to the Occupiers in #Kherson.
This is a video of the Ninel hotel in the city, where many of Russia's invaders are believed to have been staying.

Welcome to the daily news thread for 3 October.
Day 222 (Richie Benaud day?) of #Ukraine's defence of its homeland against the full scale invasion by Putin's #Russia
For a catch up on yesterday's here's the start of Sunday's thread for you to scroll thru:
Yesterday I wrote about two horrific and needless land mine tragedies & already two more today in #Kharkiv oblast.
Regional Gov Oleh Synyehubov says an ambulance driver was killed and a paramedic injured near #Balakliia, while another 26yo man was wounded in a separate incident.
As I suspected, #Russia's losses subsided a little in the last 24 hours. That's directly due to the invaders' retreat from #Lyman.
Late last night #Russia predictably used its veto in the @UN Security Council vote, proving again the UN is useless. Despite condemnation of Russia by the UN leader, the Kremlin can simply avoid punishment.
China, Brazil, India and Gabon abstained. The others voted in favour.
The near siege of #Lyman continues.
While #Russia tries to bring in reserves, there have been unverified reports and videos of its troops fleeing the cauldron.
During the night it seems #Ukraine has been striking #Kreminna, the Russians' escape/reinforcement route.
23 people are known to have died, another 28 injured when bombs hit a convoy of vehicles in #Zaporizhzhia
The cars were mainly families heading towards the checkpoint & Occupied part of the region. Of course Putin loves to make a statement on the day he tries to annex all of ZP
This time the leader of the "A Just Russia.." party targets #Kazakhstan.
Sergey Mironov threatens (military) intervention after "seeing manifestations of #Russophobia..
