Passion isn't a binary. It's a state of mind. Let's stop pretending there are "passionate" people and those who aren't.
There have been times I've felt incredibly "passionate" about certain technologies. And there have been times I've felt super low.
One's work environment or a tech community's environment can do a *lot* to foster passion. Passion can also be killed in toxic environments
being in the state of feeling "passionate" and *actually being able to turn that passion into good work* depends on several factors
How safe and welcoming the workplace/community is. How you generally feel in life. Your physical health. Your emotional health.
if you're patting yourself on your back for your passion and how it engendered good work, then well done.

But you've also been fortunate.
And there are people who couldn't afford to foster that passion and produce something of value, for myriad reasons.
