J.D. Gordon threatened me repeatedly over my posting of the thread below.

He tried to get me fired; he threatened to sue me; he threatened to have me arrested; he reported me to the FBI.

All this has been going on behind the scenes.

Now we know why he tried to intimidate me.
(2) I've never accused Gordon of a crime. But I've said he lied about working to change the GOP platform (a claim now proven true); I've said he lied about what Trump knew of the platform change (a claim now proven true); I've said he lied about what emails he did/didn't receive.
(3) The Trump campaign had a "Speech Request Form" Page had to have signed to travel to Moscow (where he met Kremlin officials). Who signed it? Gordon was Page's boss; Lewandowski was Gordon's boss; Hope Hicks (who knew about the trip) was assistant to Trump—Lewandowski's boss.
(4) Gordon said he did all he could to stop Page's trip; Lewandowski lied about whether he and Page discussed it; Sessions didn't disclose Page telling him about it; Hicks lied about the campaign having no Russia contact; Clovis/Gordon didn't reveal Page debriefed them post-trip.
(5) There's been a clear pattern for ten months more: *every* Trump aide tells *every* lie they possibly can about *every* inculpatory fact involved in the Trump-Russia probe. Seasoned criminal investigators and criminal attorneys know this sort of pattern is never a coincidence.
(6) Gordon says Papadopoulos revealed he was a Kremlin agent to Trump and the NatSec team (3/31/16) but then only discussed a Team Trump-Russia meeting with Manafort, Lewandowski, Clovis, Gates, Page—i.e., everyone connected to the NatSec team *but* its chiefs (Sessions, Gordon).
(7) Yet Gordon offers no explanation for why Papadopoulos would aggressively cut *out* of the Trump-Russia email loop the two men who met *most often* with the Russian ambassador to discuss sanctions and *worked the hardest* to change the GOP platform to benefit Putin and Russia.
(8) But it's more than that. Gordon has actively dissembled in saying first that Trump directly ordered the GOP platform change on March 31st, 2016 at Trump International Hotel in D.C.—including the language he wanted inserted—and *then* saying Trump had *nothing* to do with it.
(9) Why was it *so* important for Trump's NatSec advisors—Gorka; Gordon; Page; Schmitz—to all travel to Budapest, the European HQ for Russian intelligence, during the campaign? How was Hungary's pro-Putin government helping Trump's campaign, exactly? A valid question we must ask.
(10) Were these *many* trips to Europe the subject of the *many* overseas intercepts in which European intel agencies say they caught Trump aides speaking consequentially to Russians? I don't know. But we now know Page met a Russian he won't name in Budapest during the campaign.
(11) We know Gordon sought to use (threats of) every means at his disposal—both judicial and extra-judicial—to get journalists (because it wasn't just me) to shut up about his provably suspicious role in the 2016 Trump campaign. In the law, we call that "consciousness of guilt."
(12) Here's what Gordon should have done: (a) refuse to work on a NatSec team with a self-identified foreign agent; (b) refuse to work on a GOP platform change if the campaign planned to publicly deny its involvement to voters; (c) *not* threaten journalists reporting such facts.
(13) We may discover Gordon did nothing wrong under the law—even if it's too late to draw that conclusion about Trump, Trump Jr., Flynn, Kushner, Manafort, Gates, Page, Sessions, and the many Trump aides who sought to obstruct justice by disseminating what they *knew* were lies.
(14) But here's my message to Trump and his aides, and it comes from someone who's represented thousands of defendants in three jurisdictions: if you don't want people to suspect you're a criminal, stop doing *every single thing that criminals caught red-handed have always done*.
(15) Stop attacking prosecutors. Stop lying to investigators. Stop lying to media. Stop saying you can't recall things you clearly do. Stop denying associations we all know you have. Stop hiding evidence. Stop threatening journalists. Stop pretending you're dumber than you are.
(PS) Gordon has told The Washington Times that he never traveled to Hungary "during the campaign." We know he traveled there during the transition (see below) and I'm working to confirm or deny claims in the Hungarian press that he went there pre-election. budapestbeacon.com/j-d-gordon-exp…
(PS2) We know that during the transition Gordon gave an interview with Russia's state-run news agency in which he promoted U.S.-Russia cooperation on cybersecurity, downplayed Russia as a cybersecurity threat, and admitted talking Russia policy in Hungary. heavy.com/news/2017/03/j…
(PS3) We know that during the presidential campaign, in March 2016, J.D. Gordon publicly supported the position—as a member of Trump's NatSec team—then being taken by covert Turkish agent Mike Flynn on the extradition of a controversial Turkish national.
