my ultimate conclusion from the @DVNJr and @sethwickersham piece? disaster is on the way. no one is gonna get what they want.
because, in the end, the owners are clearly willing to impose a mandate if they think they must. and they will have to. and that's all bad.
most owners care nothing for this cause. and what the players want will require them to care. i see no mutually acceptable compromise.
and in the absence of compromise, owners will use force. because they seem to think they're already doing more than they have to.
and cats that rich don't take it well when you don't appreciate whatever little bit they're doing ✌🏽for you.✌🏽
