anyway the issue is scihub uses cloudflare so even if you know the IP you can't just put that in the browser. there's a million ways to fix this but the above method is by far the worst
assuming you use windows
1. open notepad or w/e in admin mode
2. open "c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts" for edit in that
3. add "{tab}104.18.58.63{tab}scihub" to an empty line. save.
4. profit. also now you can just type "scihub" in the browser

while we're on the topic of dns and again assuming you use windows and you're a pseudonormie, if you don't use SimpleDNSCrypt, you're wrong
normie instructions go: 1, download and install it; 2, enable it for all the things it will let you add green checkmarks to, 3, if you're in the US, pick the closest two "CS [city]" servers for your primary & secondary. not in US, ymmv, haven't benchmarked those
