if you're into any rock music where the subgenre is "melodic", "symphonic", etc -- you'll have noticed how many mainstream artists / bands in those niches are technically christian

but i bet you've never seen a (christian) anarchocapitalist nu metalcore band

so these cats put out their first full CD last year, and it's fucking fantastic, without grading on a curve. also lmao this tracklist is something else

first albums, if the band is quite good, are special musically but have v flawed production, thus get forgotten once the band "makes it"

legit @BackWordzMusic can join a v short list of bands whose freshman album is better than most top 100 bands' 2nd or 3rd / "peak" releases

the very best on the album is probably this one, all things considered. fucking 11/10

on this musical continent, the last freshman album *this* solid that i can remember is probably @redmusiconline's "End of Silence", and Red's another one of the major "quiet Christian" bands. wonder if bandmembers in both cases got a little production experience helping at church
