Twas the month before Christmas and thru the WhiteHouse,
All the creatures were stirring especially the louse.
Back channels were strewn by the chimneyplace lair in hopes that $t Kislyak soon would be there.
But in Land of the Free there arose such a clatter,

And the Chestnut in Chief screamed A TWITTER! A TWATTER!
When what to our bleary-eyed souls should appear, was an ethical man by the name of Mueller.
On Jared! On Misha! on Papa! On Prince!
On Beauregard! On Roger! And don't forget Clovis!

To the top of the jail 'cause there'll be no damn wall!
Dash away, dash away, to prison with you all!
Mueller spoke not a word but went straight to his work,
his sleigh full of traitors and the Louse-UGH! the worst!
And filled all the stockings with filings and briefs

and Subpoenas and summons which filled Louse with grief.
And giving a nod up the chimney he rose,
Leaving Louse left to shriek in his tweets bellicose.
Mueller sprung to his sleigh and it's emptied out sack,
And found some emoluments there in the back.

He laid those out too, to his team gave a whistle,
And away they all flew like the down of a thistle.
And we heard him exclaim ere he flew out of sight,
"This Louse broke our laws and his thugs we will fight! Merry Christmas America, we WILL make this right!"
