1/If you see or hear a report by ANY news media that Sen Franken resigned, please note that HE DID NOT RESIGN. He stated his intention to resign. It's kinda like he got engaged to resigning but ain't had the ceremony yet! #DontBeFooled
2/why is this important? Because his actions today allow the media/dems to take the narrative to Moore. They can say and are saying "Look how we handled it".
3/When actually nothing was done. No date announced at all. It's actually a shrewd move. Yes, Franken is embarrassed but should Moore win BOTH could/would/should end up in the ethics committee and Al has an excuse to keep the seat he didn't want to give up
4/anyway. HE DIDN'T RESIGN at least not today!! #DontBeFooled
