He also said that the Bible clearly states that we must "eradicate" Muslims because otherwise they will come here and destroy America.

He described an interview on Fox News, a soldier who talked about NOT killing a young shepherd boy in Afghanistan -- and the boy then supposedly betrayed the US soldiers to his village and they were subsequently attacked by "ISIS."

He asked me what I would have done, i.e. killed the kid or let him go as these soldiers did. He obviously thought the right answer was to shoot the kid

So, I asked him his position on abortion. Oh! Oh! He said, that's DIFFERENT!
The Afghan kid, however, he was the enemy. They should have shot him to save Americans and he saw no ambiguity in his viewpoints.

I'm not sure where religion crosses into mental illness, but I have a feeling this belief system is pretty damned close to it.
